Brian Davis (Ph.D. University of Georgia) serves as Presidential Distinguished Professor of Business Administration in the Goddard School of Business & Economics at Weber State University.  He is a past recipient of the university's Crystal Crest Master Teacher Award, the Centennial Faculty Award for Teaching, and the Hinckley Award for Faculty Excellence.  He is a member of the Society for Business Ethics, the Association for the Sociology of Religion, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, Division 8 of the American Psychological Association, and the Society for Ethics Across the Curriculum.

Brian served on active duty in the U.S. Navy and later in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.  As a Hospital Corpsman, he provided medical support for a variety of Army, Navy, and Marine Corps units and helped train South Vietnamese medical personnel.  He later served with the 40th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at McChord Air Force Base and assisted with the resettlement of war refugees.  Brian graduated from Weber State College in 1977.  He went on to earn a Master of Social Science degree from Utah State University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Georgia. 

Brian's research has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Academic Ethics, the Public Administration Review, the Journal of Long Range Planning, the Journal of Advertising Research, and elsewhere.  Brian's teaching and research has taken him to numerous Asian countries over the years, including Bangladesh, India, China, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
