There are a total of 17 lessons in this course.  Each lesson consists of an overview of the topic, a set of learning objectives, links to places of interest on the web, and concept quizzes.  These are true-false and multiple choice quizzes for each of the chapters in the textbook.  Each of these chapter quizzes will be scored by the computer while you wait.

These computer-graded problem sets will be very useful in helping you to master the concepts in this course and prepare you for the exams.  The exam questions will be very similar to those found in the online chapter quizzes.  The results of these quizzes do not count directly in your course grade and results do not need to be sent to me.

There will be an course examination covering each of the three sets of chapters and corresponding lessons below.

The exams will consist of 50 questions covering each unit, with about half of the questions drawn directly from the online quizzes.

The course exams must be taken at a WSU Testing Center or through an authorized proctor.  About half of the questions on each exam will be drawn from the online chapter quizzes.  You will not be allowed to take any course materials into the testing center.
